Day 01: Arrival Yangon
Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Welcome by our tour guide. Transfer to Hotel. Yangon sightseeing tour includes the old colonial style city center with the gilded Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2,000 years. The tour continue to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, a huge reclining Buddha image, extended visit to Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the world’s most spectacular religious monuments and the golden dome of Shwedagon Pagoda rises 98meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold., will conclude the tour of this picturesque garden city. Dine and overnight in Yangon.
Day 02: Yangon – Pakokku
Morning transfer to the airport for flight to Mandalay. On depend arrival proceed to Pakokku by car. Pakokku is an old traditional town on the western bank of the Ayeyarwady River. On arrive Pakokku, transfer to the hotel for check in. Take your leisure to relax for your along journey. Overnight in Pakokku.
Day 03: Pakokku
Thiho Shin is one of the most famous pagodas in Pakokku, built by King Alaungsithu. The pagoda contains an image presented by the King of Ceylon some 800 years ago and the image is one of the most revered in Myanmar. After your morning leisure, join and spend all day in Festival celebrating and activities. Evening enjoy the beautiful scenes alongside the west side of Ayeyarwady River with the pagoda festival. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 04: Pakokku – Yangon
After breakfast, drive to Mandalay Airport for flight back to Yangon. Upon arrival in Yangon, take arrest for a while and enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant. The afternoon tour continues with the Bo Gyoke (Scott’s) Market; and Chinatown. Then, enjoy your dinner at a local restaurant and stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 05: Yangon – Home
After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the Yangon International Airport for your onward departure flight. It will be the end of your great experience on the wonderful trip with METT.
