Day 01: Home – Yangon (L/D)
International arrival to Yangon. Transfer to the hotel for check-in. Afternoon, excursion to Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha and Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the wonders of the world and the most venerated Buddhist Monument in Myanmar, where one can see the lifestyle of Myanmar People. Strolling through at Chinatown in the evening. Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 02: Yangon – Bagan (by flight) (B/L/D)
After breakfast, take a flight from Yangon to Bagan. Upon arrival Bagan, visit Nyaung U Market; Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century; Wetkyi-inn Gubyaukyi Temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scenes. Next stop is Htilominlo situated close to the road between Nyaung U and Bagan, built by king Nantaungmya in 1218 and traces of old murals are also still visible. Continue to Ananda Temple, a whitewashed masterpiece of Mon architecture with four standing Buddhas, and the adjacent brick monastery with beautiful, well-preserved 18th century murals. Make a photo stop At Thatbyinnyu 'Omniscient' Temple, one of the highest in Bagan, rises to 61m and was built by Alaungsithu around the mid-12th Century. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon tour includes Manuha Temple, built in a Mon Style in 1059, Nampaya Temple, unique sandstone edifice said to be the residence of King Manuha; and sunset viewing from Bagan's temples. Stay overnight at your hotel in Bagan.
Day 03: Bagan – Mandalay (Cruise) (B/L/D)
Bagan - Yandabo Village (53MILES *84KM ) Embarkation time is 6:30 at Aye Yar Jetty, the ship will cast off at 7:00, sail upstream through and approximately 15:00-15:30 arrive to Yandabo Village. Sightseeing Yandabo Village. Dependant on the base economy is famous for the production of erracotta from the riverbank clay. We see the pottery making process at various stages. Yandabo, historically recognized for the signing of the Yandabo Treaty which took place under a tree on the riverbank in 1826 between the British and Royal Burmese House-hold of Ava. Shore excursion time is 1 hour. Overnight at the village house or sleep on board.
Day 04: Yandabo Village – Mandalay (B/L/D)
(MILES 76*KM 121) Cast off early morning, Continue sailing upstream and approximately arrive to Mandalay 15:30-16:00. Disembark from the ship. Arrive Mandalay check in hotel and Evening visit to Shwenandaw Monastery with exquisite wood carvings; Kuthodaw Pagoda known as the World's Biggest Book for its stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures; and Mandalay Hill dotted with pagodas shrines and a vantage point for panoramic views of the city and environs.. Overnight stay at your hotel in Mandalay.
Day 05: Mandalay – Yangon – Home by Flight (B/L)
After breakfast, back to Yangon by morning flight. After arrival in Yangon, the day ends with time for free and easy shopping adventures at Bogyoke Scott Market to browse and bargain freely among the hundreds of stalls for great souvenirs. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for departure.
