Day 01: Home - Yangon

You'll be welcomed by our tour guide upon arrival and transferred to your hotel. After lunch at a local restaurant, your tour of Central Yangon featuring Bogyoke Aung San Museum; Chaukhtatgyi, a colossal reclining Buddha; Karaweik Hall, a concrete structure shaped like a royal barge amidst the waters of Royal Lake (Kandawgyi); the Bogyoke (Scott's) Market; the Sule Pagoda, located smack in the centre of Yangon; some colonial buildings; and the Strand Hotel and the Shwedagon Pagoda, the most revered by all Buddhists in Myanmar. Then, enjoy your dinner at a local restaurant and stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 02: Yangon – Bagan

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Yangon Airport for your flight to Bagan. Upon arrival, visit Nyaung U Market; Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century; Wetkyi-inn Gubyaukyi Temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scenes. Next stop is Htilominlo situated close to the road between Nyaung U and Bagan, built by king Nantaungmya in 1218 and traces of old murals are also still visible. Continue to Ananda Temple, a whitewashed masterpiece of Mon architecture with four standing Buddhas, and the adjacent brick monastery with beautiful, well-preserved 18th century murals. Make a photo stop At Thatbyinnyu 'Omniscient' Temple, one of the highest in Bagan, rises to 61m and was built by Alaungsithu around the mid-12th Century. Transfer to your hotel. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant.
Continue to Dhammayangyi, a massive-looking temple dating from 1170 which is famous for its interlocking mortarless brickwork. Then visit, Mingalazedi built in 1277 by Narathihapati and it was the very last or the large late period, thus representing the final flowering of Bagan's architectural skills. Then stop at Myazedi Stupa to see Myanmar's "Rosetta Stone", bearing inscriptions written in four languages.
Afternoon tour includes Manuha Temple, built in a Mon Style in 1059, Nampaya Temple , unique sandstone edifice said to be the residence of King Manuha; and sunset viewing from Bagan's temples. Enjoy your dinner at a local restaurant with Myanmar tradional show. Stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 03 : Bagan –Popa-Sale

After breakfast, take a car trip to Sale, a small town about 15 km south of Bagan. Sightseeing includes U Pone Nya Museum, formerly the Yoke Sone Monastery which exhibits antique lacquer ware, wooden relief and a large standing gilded Buddha image. Then drive to Mount Popa, an extinct volcano, claimed to be abode of Nat spirits. On this mountaintop are the pagodas, shrines and monasteries. Return back to Bagan and stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 04 : Bagan-Mandalay

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Mandalay. Arrive at Tada Oo International Airport, and proceed directly to Amarapura (just south of Mandalay); Mahagandayon, a famous Buddhist monastery with more than a thousand student monks; and 200-year-old U Bein’s teak bridge. Then, continues to Mahamuni Pagoda in Mandalay, one of the most revered Buddha Images; and a short visit to gold-foil cottage industry. Check-in at your hotel and enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon sightseeing in Mandalay: Shwenandaw Monastery with exquisite wood carvings; Kuthodaw Pagoda known as the World's Biggest Book for its stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures; and Mandalay Hill dotted with pagodas and shrines and a vantage point for panoramic views of the city and environs. Enjoy your dinner at a local restaurant. Stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 05 : Mandalay-Mingun

After breakfast, take (11 km; about 1 hour) a trip on private boat up the Ayeyarwady River to visit Mingun, a village on the western bank. Tour highlights: very huge but unfinished Pahtodawgyi Pagoda; Mingun Bell, world's largest undamaged ringing bell which weighs of 90 tons; Myatheintan Pagoda with seven concentric terraces. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant. Return back to Mandalay. In the afternoon at your leisure time for relaxation and own exploration. Enjoy your dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 06 : Mandalay-Sagaing

After breakfast, take car trip to Sagaing. Sightseeing highlights: Kaunghmudaw Pagoda, enormous dame-shaped stupa; famed Sagaing Hills, a retreat for devout Buddhists. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant. Then proceed to Inwa by car and take a ferry to reach the other bank of the Myintnge River. Sightseeing includes Nanmyint Watch Tower, Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery and Bagaya Monastery. Return to Mandalay. Enjoy your dinner at a local restaurant. Stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 07 : Mandalay-Pyin Oo Lwin-Mandalay

After breakfast, visit to Pyin Oo Lwin (one of the most pleasant hill stations in Myanmar, just two hours' drive from Mandalay) by car. Sightseeing tour highlights include National Kandawgyi Gardens and Pwekauk Waterfalls. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant. Go back to Mandalay. Enjoy your dinner at local restaurant and stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 08 : Mandalay-Kalaw

After breakfast, take eight-hour car trip to Kalaw, a popular hill station in the British days. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant in the town called Meiktila. Then proceed to Kalaw. In Kalaw, tour around the town and famous Nhee Paya, a gold lacquered bamboo (wickerwork) Buddha. Enjoy your dinner at a local restaurant. Stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 09 : Kalaw-Pindaya

After breakfast, drive to a small quiet town Pindaya and visit Pindaya caves, well known for the Buddha statues carved out of limestone. A short stop at 250-year-old Banyan Tree; visit the Mulberry Paper Making Factory, the Bamboo Hat Making Factory and the Umbrella Making Factory. Enjoy your lunch at local restaurant. After dinner, stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 10 : Pindaya-Inle

After breakfast, start your tour with morning excursion by boat in Inle Lake includes observing unique leg-rowers, fishing canoes, floating gardens and plantations. Then visit famous Nga Pe Chaung (Jumping Cat) monastery and silversmith cottage industry. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant. Your afternoon tour programmers’ will be; cheroot-making factory; boat-making carpentry workshop and silk and cotton-weaving industry. In late afternoon visit famous Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 11 : Inle-Yangon

After breakfast, start a morning visit to the Floating Market. After lunch, transfer to the Heho airport for flight to Yangon. Enjoy your dinner at a local restaurant in Chinatown stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 12 : Yangon-Home

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Yangon International Airport for departure.
