Day 01: Home – Yangon
You’ll be welcomed by our guide upon arrival and transferred to your hotel. After lunch in a local restaurant, your tour of Central Yangon featuring Bogyoke Museum; Chaukhtatgyi, a colossal reclining Buddha; Karaweik Hall, a concrete structure shaped like a royal barge amidst the waters of Royal Lake (Kandawgyi); and the Shwe Dagon Pagoda, the most revered by all Buddhists in Myanmar. Then, enjoy your dinner at a local restaurant and stay overnight at your hotel in Yangon.
Day 02: Yangon – Bagan
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight to Bagan. After arrival, sightseeing begins with Nyaung Oo Market to observe the Bagan peoples’ ways of life. Then proceed to few temples to explore Architectural heritage of 11th Century civilization and mural paintings, Shwezigon Pagoda, Thatbyinnyu Temple, Htilominlo Temple, and Ananda Temple; which has four huge Buddha Images in standing position and relieves depicting the Buddha from his birth to his Enlightenment. Continue lacquer-we making cottage industry to view the process. Then Dhamayangyi; Bagan’s most massive temple, Manuha Temple; built in the Mon Style from the 1059, Nanpaya Temple; said to be the place of King Manuha’s palace site, Myinkaba Gubyaukgyi. Also visit to Pyathatgyi Pagoda or Shwesandaw Pagoda to watch sunset over the Ayeyarwaddy River. Stay overnight at hotel in Bagan.
Day 03: Bagan – Popa
After breakfast It is the best time to get on Mt.Popa to join the Nat Spirit Festival and also available to get the new experience by enjoy the landscape of dry zone. At the top of the mountain, there are monasteries and pagodas. Enjoy the festival with a local people. Before getting down from the top, enjoy the panoramic view of the region looking down towards the arid plain in the direction of Bagan. Enjoy lunch at Popa and dinner with Myanmar traditional show in local restaurant. Stay overnight rest in your chosen hotel.
Day 04: Bagan – Yangon
After breakfast, transfers to the airport for your flight to Yangon. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant. The afternoon tour continues with the Bo Gyoke (Scott’s) Market; and Chinatown. Then, enjoy your dinner at a local restaurant and stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 05: Yangon – Home
After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the Yangon International Airport for your onward departure flight. It will be the end of your great experience on the wonderful trip with METT.
